The Rubato is a lightweight pistol/PCC suppressor. It is not full-auto rated. It consists of three pieces:
1) The body: 6061 aluminum tubing threaded on both ends for 1-3/8x24" (HUB standard)
2) The stack: The base model comes with a FDM printed PET-CF or PET-GF baffle stack.
3) The end-cap: 6061 aluminum incorporating a 1/2" hex socket for easy disassembly and maintenence.

Installation instructions:
Rubato does not come with an adapter by default. You will need:
a) A direct-thread adapter from your barrel threads (typically 1/2x28, 9/16x24 or 5/8x24; consult your firearm manufacturer if in doubt) OR
b) A "quick-detatch" or "QD" that mates with an appropriate muzzle device, such as Dead-Air, Reardon, Q or Surefire, OR
c) A Neilsen device or "booster." This option is generally required for handguns to ensure proper operation.
Service:
Unload your firearm and make it safe.
Remove the suppressor from the firearm, then remove the mount (adapter) by turning it to the left. Remember that suppressors can be hot. Carbon build-up can make the device difficult to remove. Use a strap wrench or SOFT pliers if necessary AT THE BASE of the suppressor where it meets the adapter. Too much force can distort the body and damage the device.
Remove the endcap by turning it to the left with the included wrench (or any 1/2" hex wrench). Try not to lose it.
Push the stack out of the can either with your finger or with a non-marking tool such as a wooden dowel. Wash with warm water, soap and 70/90% IPA (if needed) for best results. PET-CF is not generally considered dishwasher safe, but you do you.
We will replace your stack for free for any reason for the lifetime of the device.
add a small amount of anti-sieze to the threads and then replace your adapter. The longer "cup" end is the blast chamber. This goes to the back (towards your firearm). Replace the stack by fully inserting it into the body so that it presses against the adapter. Add a small amount of "anti-sieze" lubricant to the threads and replace the cap. Tighten it with the wrench until it seats firmly. Slight compression of the stack is what keeps the endcap in place. If you can shake the can and you hear it rattle, it needs to be tighter.
